Full Day River Rafting – Crocodile River

Join us for our flagship River Rafting Adventure – a full day of adrenaline on the Highveld Crocodile River in Gauteng (Broederstroom / Lanseria). We paddle in two-man inflatable rafts called Crocs. Experience Grade 1 & 2 rapids with APA & First Aid qualified guides. 

Cost:
  • From R750 pp, depending on numbers
  • A maximum of 16 participants allowed on this adventure

  • Around 16 km of adrenalin flowing adventure!
Duration:
  • Full Day – Ask for more info on times.
Venue:
  • We start and end at the same venue in Broederstroom (Hartebeespoort Dam area).  You leave you vehciels at the ending venue, and we will transport you to the starting point.
  • The rafting is done on the Highveld Crocodile River, with Grade 1 & 2 rapids.
Availability:
  • Wednesday to Sunday, subject to booking & confirmation
  • Please note: This trip can only be done when the river is high enough.
Other:
  • We raft in 2-seater inflatable rafts, called Crocs
  • The ability to swim is an advantage, but not required. All clients are fitted with excellent PFD’s (Personal Flotation Devices / Life-jackets)
  • Please note that there is an age limit of 16 and older only for this adventure.
Difficulty
  • Suitable for the Better-than-Average Joe or Jane
Included:
  • Qualified and registered Adventure River Guides
  • All gear and equipment, during-adventure transfers
  • A light Snack Pack is included in your fees
What to bring & wear:
  • Generally, with river rafting, the less you wear the better (within limits!). Whatever you wear will most likely get wet, including your shoes. Bare-foot rafting is not allowed though, so please bring old shoes with.
  • A hat (preferably a peak/baseball cap) or beanie in winter can be worn under the rafting helmet.
  • Sun block!
  • Warm clothing and rain gear – the weather can change unexpectedly
  • Own refreshments if you want (non-alcoholic beverages only), as the day gets long and hot. Energy snacks are a good idea! Please bring lots of extra water, at least 2 litres per person.
  • A camera if you want, with a dry bag.
  • Please wear as little as possible jewelry, as it can get hooked on gear or rocks.
  • Enthusiasm and a spirit of adventure!
