Kloofing (Canyoneering)
Kloofing is the fun activity of following a river’s course down a kloof / gorge. Some of these are normally dry kloofs where the river only flows late in the rainy season and others are wet kloofs where the river flows all year round, sometimes with compulsory swims along the way. Because water always follows the steepest route downhill, Kloofing involves Abseiling, jumping and bum-slides, sometimes a bit of climbing and scrambling over rocks, and always a great deal of FUN and ADVENTURE!
