Wonder Caves Abseiling

Descend back in time… Abseil into the spectacular Wonder Caves, followed by a guided tour to gain insight into the ancient cave formations.

Other:
  • Almost anyone can abseil, regardless of weight and fitness. We are restricted by harness sizes, more or less of size 44 and up might not fit into the harnesses.
  • Ages 10 and older welcome (For younger kids, please contact us, we can do rock climbing from age 6 and older J)
  • Excellent photo opportunities – bring your camera!

What to bring & wear:
  • Appropriate closed-toed footwear with good grip on rock, like hiking boots/shoes, or a pair of sport shoes. No pumps, flip-flops or bare feet.
  • Comfortable, moveable clothing like shorts, t-shirts, light slacks, jeans; layered clothing work well in winter. Avoid skirts, dresses and low-rise jeans.
  • A hat (preferably a peak/baseball cap) or beanie in winter can be worn under the abseil helmet.
  • Sun block
  • Warm clothing and rain gear – the weather can change unexpectedly
  • Own refreshments if you want (non-alcoholic beverages only)
  • A camera
  • Please wear as little as possible jewelry, as it can get hooked on gear or rocks.
  • Enthusiasm and a spirit of adventure!
Extra:
  • There is a restaurant on site with great quick meals – no booking is necessary.
